Kat & Brett | San Luis Obispo Wedding
It was midmorning when we pulled off the road and into the driveway of the Chene Vineyards. Rows and rows of vines ran parallel to each other as we drove along the driveway. As we looked past the vineyard we saw the estate atop a hill with mountains sticking out from each side of the building far in the distance. This was where our bride, Kat, was getting ready for her San Luis Obispo Mission wedding day.
Just mere miles away Brett was getting ready with his guys. He fastened his cuff links, adjusted his bowtie, and buttoned his tux. The time was almost here. And he was ready. He hadn’t seen his bride all day and he was excitedly waiting for the moment he’d get to. The moment he would see her walking down the aisle to join him in front of the altar.
Brett stood excitedly in front of the altar with his hands clasped watching for the arrival of his bride. As each bridesmaid walked down the aisle his smile got bigger and his eyes widened. He didn’t want to miss even a second of seeing Kat walking towards him. She walked through the door and the bright light from outside followed her in. As she came into sight, they saw each other, and finally, the moment they had been waiting months for was here.

During their San Luis Obispo Mission wedding ceremony, their priest spoke on kindness. He encouraged them to be kind and understanding to each other so they can have a healthy and prosperous marriage. We can’t think of two better individuals that embody this message of kindness so perfectly. Kat & Brett are a sweet couple and two of the kindest people in the world. It’s so special that their ceremony was so fitting for one of the attributes that everyone around them sees and experiences from them constantly.
Kat & Brett, you’re married! Even after all the uncertainties in the world, you made it happen! And we are so glad we got to celebrate with you and your families. We watched you two handle these past few months with so much grace. So many plans were up in the air, and although your day was supposed to be different in a few major ways, we’re so humbled by the attitude you had and how you made the most of every moment. We feel so blessed that you trusted us with your wedding day, and even more so to call you friends. We loved your engagement session, your wedding day, and we cannot wait for round two of celebrations next year! Until then, we hope you find many times to cuddle in close to enjoy all of your incredible wedding photos, together.
