Rodney’s Vineyard | Los Olivos, California

We are so excited to share this beautiful Los Olivos wedding venue with you! Rodney’s Vineyard was completed in the Fall of 2019, so it’s still a relatively new wedding venue. Located in the Santa Ynez Valley, Los Olivos is surrounded by rolling hills and a plethora of wineries. Also, Rodney’s Vineyard is located on a hilltop above the Fess Parker Winery so those hills and the rest of the view are incredible! And the event space is like a secret. Only those in the know, know about it. It’s very private and is only open to guests and vendors on the days that there are events.

As you arrive at Fess Parker Winery, continuing along the dirt road past the vineyards and up to the top of the hill overlooking the property is when you’ll finally reach Rodney’s Vineyard. As you look over the hillside you can see rows and rows of grapes. Depending on the season they may be ripe or changing colors like the rest of the trees in the area. Some large Oak trees are scattered here and there and rose bushes are placed at the start of each row. Further, in the distance, you might see California Poppies painting the hillside orange or deep green grass dancing in the wind, reminiscent of the view from a house on the prairie.

The Reservoir 

As you turn from the views surrounding you, your eyes settle on a reservoir. The venue’s reservoir runs along the entirety of the venue space so every special moment of the event will be next to the water.

 The Ceremony Space at Rodney’s Vineyard

The altar of the ceremony location was created with the views in mind. Beyond the couple a large Oak tree and rows of vines as far as the eye can see lead to the rolling mountains. Mountains so large that they reach into the sky to touch the clouds. 

Cocktail Hour

The wonderful hour between your ceremony and the start of your reception takes place under the shade of olive trees. Your family and friends can grab a drink and enjoy themselves while taking in all the views and company from each other. 

Your Reception at Rodney’s Vineyard

The ground is concrete so you can feel safe and comfortable while dancing the night away. There’s a lifted stage for your DJ or live band that is located on the side. A partition hides the catering and bathrooms from sight, so there really is nothing that can take away from the marvelous views.
