As the Fall season decided to spread its magic over this small town surrounded by hills and mountains on all sides, a couple was getting ready for their day. Located just east of Santa Barbara, this private estate wedding in Ojai California was experiencing a beautiful sunrise. On this day, Katharine & John were married by her grandfather under an altar of greenery at her parent’s home. As they began their marriage with family and friends one thing was abundantly clear. At the heart of their celebrations and joy was an overflowing well of family legacy. Because, to Katharine & John, family and friendship mean everything.

John took a chance and moved to California a few years ago and that’s where he met Katharine. It wasn’t long before they started dating. And eventually one morning John asked Katharine to go for a walk near the beach. And the rest is history. Although the plans for their private estate wedding in Ojai, California were originally much different they were still able to celebrate in their own way. They planned multiple day events and spent as much time as possible with their favorite people.
