Justine & Alex | A Montecito Proposal at Lotusland

Through the twists and turns of the narrow road leading up the hills of Montecito, California rests a botanical garden. Full of rare plants and unlike any other garden in the state, Lotusland is in and of itself a world of exquisite beauty. It’s the perfect place for celebrations and it was here in this historical location that a proposal was planned from across the country. Planning that spanned the weeks leading up to his Montecito proposal at Lotusland to his special now-fiancé. 

Alex rose to meet his fiancé with a hug and placed the ring on her finger.

Justine & Alex walked along the wide gravel path that led to the Japanese Garden, the place where he would propose. As they walked down each step to the small landing that overlooked the pond he took deep breaths. Once they reached the landing they stopped to hold each other close and looked out over the pond taking in the sights. Suddenly, he turned and hugged his girlfriend for the last time. He knelt down to one knee and asked her to marry him. Almost immediately a smile covered Justine’s face as she said yes. Alex rose to meet his fiancé with a hug and placed the ring on her finger.
