Kat & Brett | Bishop’s Peak Engagement
Oak trees are one of the most beloved trees in the world. They symbolize strength, endurance, longevity, and patience. It takes a lot of strength and endurance to grow and develop into something that can be a symbol of these things. An oak tree battles through all seasons. And through continuing to stand, it’s able to present itself in all of its beauty and elegance.
Loving stronger. Protecting each other with patience. And holding onto each other forever.
An oak tree can be similar to a relationship in that way. It takes commitment and patience to establish a relationship that is worthy of marriage. And we can think of no better plant to symbolize Kat & Brett’s relationship with each other. We believe they’ll continue to grow, committing more and more of themselves to the other. Loving stronger. Protecting each other with patience. And holding onto each other forever. Just like an oak tree symbolizes strength, endurance, longevity, and patience, they are that for each other.
Kat & Brett, where do we even start? You two are kind, hilarious, caring, and so many more adjectives! We’ve never met someone so into the Bachelor/Bachelorette, and we’re surprised to say, we’re intrigued enough by the drama to consider watching it (if we ever get TV/is there another way to watch it?). And we’re sooo glad we’ve met someone with our HomeGoods obbession! We cannot wait for your wedding next year, and we hope to see you again multiple times before then. And we just want to add, if we had the ability to rewind time we would 100% go back to this day! We want to relive all of our time with you two again, grabbing drinks and laughing together by the water, and especially the time during your Bishop’s Peak engagement session.
We love all the sparkly rings we get to see being wedding photographers in Santa Barbara, and this is one of our favorites from your Bishop’s Peak engagement session! It’s possible that we may or may not have (we (AKA Spencer) totally did) set up the acorns to symbolize your family. Kat, Brett, and Jack-jack. 🙂
